birthday
at work...
ahhhh... a surprise birthday party at work, with a spread from ming's, cake, balloon and lots of friends.
many of you know that i have a general problem with time and space... except in the most concrete terms of daily living or tasks at hand. so every birthday feels like the last one -- i don't really ever feel older except in specific situations, like not being able to see small print, or my glasses not ever really correcting my eyesight anymore... time passes and things just go along -- generally, for the better (because I usually learn from my mistakes). it all seems to work out for me.

after work...
cheryl met me for dinner at House of Prime Rib... it was delicious as always. when we got home, i opened gifts and talked to everyone on the phone.
we drank german eiswein out of the wine goblets Mary and Bill gave me... i was in heaven. it was a wonderful day!
